By engaging Delta First Building Services Limited to carry out works, by requesting a quotation, or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or this website.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Delta First Building Services Limited provides electrical installation and maintenance, mechanical engineering, plumbing, HVAC, building fabric maintenance, and associated facilities management services ("Services") to commercial, industrial, public sector and residential clients throughout the United Kingdom.

In the event of any conflict between a specific contract document and these terms, the specific contract document shall take precedence.
All quotations provided by Delta First Building Services Limited are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotations are based on the information available at the time and are subject to revision if the scope of works changes.
Prices are exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate applicable at the date of invoice.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We also reserve the right to claim reasonable debt recovery costs.
Non-payment may result in suspension of services without liability to Delta First Building Services Limited.
To enable us to carry out the Services effectively, the client agrees to:
Delta First Building Services Limited operates in full compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, including but not limited to the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and all applicable codes of practice.
Our engineers hold the qualifications and accreditations relevant to their discipline, relevant to their discipline and the services being provided.
The client must ensure that the working environment is safe and compliant with applicable legislation prior to our engineers commencing work. If our engineers identify an unsafe condition, they reserve the right to suspend works until the matter is resolved.
Delta First Building Services Limited warrants that all Services will be carried out with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with all applicable legislation and industry standards.
Subject to the paragraph below, our total liability to the client for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall not exceed the total value of the contract under which the claim arises.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity.
The client shall indemnify Delta First Building Services Limited against any claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses arising from the client's failure to comply with their obligations under these terms.
We provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship for all completed installations and works, subject to the following conditions:
Our obligation under warranty is limited to rectifying defective workmanship at our own cost. We do not provide warranty cover on equipment or components supplied by the client.
All drawings, specifications, reports, designs and other documents prepared by Delta First Building Services Limited remain our intellectual property unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. You may use such documents solely for the purpose for which they were produced.
Both parties agree to keep confidential all information received from the other party that is designated as confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential, and not to use such information for any purpose other than the performance of the contract.
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these terms where such delay or failure arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, war, government action, industrial action, or disruption to supply chains. In such circumstances, we will notify the client as soon as reasonably practicable and will endeavour to resume performance as soon as possible.
Either party may terminate a contract by giving 30 days' written notice. On termination, the client shall pay for all Services performed and materials purchased up to the date of termination, including any reasonable demobilisation costs.
We may terminate a contract with immediate effect if the client fails to make payment when due, becomes insolvent, or materially breaches these terms and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice.
Delta First Building Services Limited is committed to using directly employed engineers and tradespeople wherever possible. We may use approved subcontractors for specialist works where required, and we remain fully responsible for the quality and compliance of any subcontracted works.
